Staff Dress Code

The School Board has specified the following dress standards for Âé¶¹´«Ã½ College staff. These guidelines apply to all situations where staff are representing the school, including professional development seminars and after-hours access to College grounds.

Male Staff

Clothing

Professional attire (including sunnah clothes) on formal events, conferences, and parent teacher interviews
Smart casual or professional attire on school days
Shorts must be 3/4 length at least if worn on non-student days or sporting events

Shoes

Closed shoes required for OH&S reasons
Maintain professional look
Keeping personal safety in mind

Female Staff

Head Covering â€“ Hijab

Fully cover hair, neck, ears
Non see through fabric
Drape it to cover chest

General Wear

Loose fitting and non see-through for all of the following options:

Full length skirt with long top, or
Trousers (wide-legged only) with knee length top, or
Full length abaya or dress

Sleeves to be full length up to and including wrists
Needs to cover down to and including ankles
No tucking in of tops
