Camps and Outdoors

Â鶹´«Ã½ College offers a comprehensive camping program designed to support students’ personal growth, independence, teamwork and learning beyond the classroom.

Our students consistently describe camp as one of the highlights of their school experience. Camps provide valuable opportunities to build positive relationships with peers and staff, develop resilience, strengthen independence and create lasting memories. Adventure activities are offered as a challenge by choice, encouraging students to participate at their own level while building confidence and stepping outside their comfort zones.

Our camping journey begins in Year 3, where students are gradually introduced to the camp experience through an exciting overnight sleepover at the College

A highlight of our camping program is the Year 9 Canberra Camp, where students spend five days immersed in Australia’s national capital. This educational experience provides valuable insights into Australia’s history, government and national identity.

Camp costs are kept to a minimum and are included as part of the College’s Composite Levy. Throughout all camps, students are provided with opportunities for religious reflection, and all daily prayers are conducted. All food provided is halal, and great care is taken to ensure appropriate gender separation and supervision at all times.
