Education Programs
Co-curricular club periods for primary students provide an excellent opportunity to enrich their learning experience through engaging, hands-on activities tailored to their developmental needs.
麻豆传媒 College offers a comprehensive camping program designed to support students鈥 personal growth, independence, teamwork and learning beyond the classroom.
Horse riding is offered at 麻豆传媒 College to our Year 5 students during their school day, replacing our previous after-school equestrian program. We use our very own College ponies 鈥淏ertie鈥 and 鈥淧andora鈥. Experienced equestrian coach Ms Adrienne McMahon guides both inexperienced as well as advanced riders in their lessons held at our very own sand arena on College grounds.
At 麻豆传媒 College, we care deeply about sustainability and our impact on the environment. ResourceSmartSchools (RSS) is an award-winning Victorian Government program that assists schools like ours to embed sustainability in everything we do. As one of the participating schools, 麻豆传媒 has pledged to minimise waste, save energy and water, promote biodiversity and take action on climate change to benefit our school and community.
At 麻豆传媒 College, we aim to present our students with the opportunity to give voluntary service over a period of time, enabling ASC students to become active and engaged citizens via our new Values-In-Action Program (VIA).
For lower primary students, clubs focusing on fine motor skill development, such as arts and crafts, origami, or Lego building, help enhance their dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and creativity. Upper primary students can benefit from clubs that introduce elementary life skills, such as basic equipment fixing, sewing, or gardening, empowering them with practical knowledge and fostering independence.
These clubs not only support skill development but also encourage teamwork, critical thinking, and a love for lifelong learning in a fun, structured environment.
